James Hill spent last week at the #WMSym2022 Waste Management Symposium in Arizona, showcasing our waste container concepts to the US and Canadian market. Thanks to the Nuclear Industry Association, who organised the 200-strong UK contingency, we had the unique chance to build friendships and connections with members of the UK-based supply chain; you get to know people pretty well when you’re 5,000 miles from home and sharing a stand for 5 days!
It was an excellent networking and showcasing opportunity and we’re hoping that the NIA will put together a similar stand again next year – that is, if Stephanie McKenna has recovered from all her hard work in time to get us into shape again! A show that brings together over 2,000 delegates from around the world to provide a forum for discussion and innovation on nuclear waste disposal is absolutely worth being a part of.
